Product Design
Our Trommels are firmly constructed with carbon tool steel, designed for high performance, high production rates, lower operating costs and lower maintenance. Customized trommel screens are provided to meet specific requirement on product and to comply with the particle size, specific gravity, dryness and viscosity of screening materials.
Manufacture
Material feeds into the drum, is lifted up by the rotation and aerated as it falls back down. This action is repeated with each revolution along the length of the drum. The screening materials can therefore tumble continuously under the inertia so that an enduring screening effect is achieved. The finer material passes through the screen meshes while the larger material tumbles towards its eventual exit at the rear of the drum. This method of screening helps to reduce operating and investment cost and to increase product quality, while allowing rapid and large volume processing.

Components
Octagon / hexagon / round trommel screen
Trommel screens different from traditional types are also manufactured to meet specific needs, e.g. octagon or hexagon trommel screen is mostly used for scrap metal recycling and waste industries; customized traditional round trommel screen is on the other hand ideal for rock scalping and washing as well as different sized debris, solid contaminants or useful material sorting from containers, topsoil, peat, compost, decomposed bark, concrete washout for waste recycling. The use of these Trommels is dependent upon the different requirements on products. The larger the angle of the trommel screen is (as in the case of a traditional one), the higher the rubbing ratio and the longer the rubbing time will be. On the other hand, the smaller the angle of the trommel screen is (as in the case of a hexagon trommel screen), the higher the tumbling height as well as the tumbling frequency will be.
Screen sieve
The mesh of the sieve is carefully calculated and designed on the basis of the varied feeding granularity, specific gravity, dryness and viscosity of the screening materials. The screening applications on our machines prevent the blockage of the material and achieve optimum performance of size classification and increased throughput.
